rules

The rules the program runs.

The deploy key can upgrade it until it is frozen. The notes at the bottom say what that means.

01

Joining

You put at least 100,000 tokens of the coin into the game's vault and get a hero, named from your wallet address. The tokens sit in the vault; only you can take them out, with the same wallet, at any time, all at once. Taking them out closes the hero and returns its rent.

02

The hour

A round is 9,001 Solana slots, about an hour. A hero counts in a round if it joined before that round started. Adding tokens counts as joining again, so it sits the hero out of the round in progress; the site sends your hero down first if a finished round is still taking descents.

03

The pot

The coin's pump.fun creator fees come to the game account. 80% go into the next pot and 20% to the dev wallet. When an hour ends its pot is locked. Fees that arrive after that go to the next hour.

04

The seed

When an hour's last slot has passed, anyone can seal it. The seed is the hash of the first Solana slot at or after the end, read from the chain's own SlotHashes record. Nobody knows it while the hour runs. In theory the validator producing that exact slot could try to influence its hash; it is the same randomness most on-chain games use.

05

The descent

Each hero's depth comes from sha256(seed, owner) and its weight: the bag, times 1 to 2 as it stays in for up to a week. The deepest key wins, and the math is a weighted race, so a hero's chance is its weight over all the weights. Splitting a bag across wallets changes nothing. Adding tokens keeps the bag's token-time, spread over more tokens, so a bigger bag starts lower on the bonus.

06

Sending heroes down

For about 30 minutes after a seal, anyone can send heroes down and the program keeps the deepest. Our keeper sends the deepest ones. While the window is open, the hero card on the home page has a button to send your own.

07

Payout

After the window anyone can settle: the locked pot goes to the deepest hero's owner. If nobody counted, or the payment could not land, the pot rolls into the next hour. If an hour is not sealed within about 3 minutes of its end, its seed is gone and it is void; its pot rolls on too.

What you should know.

  • ·The program can still be upgraded by its deploy key until it is frozen. Until then, whoever holds that key could change any of these rules, including how the vault pays out.
  • ·The deploy key can also point the dev share at another wallet (including the share already booked) and give up the key for good. It has no instruction that touches the vault or a pot.
  • ·Tokens in the vault are worth what the coin is worth. Putting them in does not protect them from the price.
  • ·The coin itself is launched on pump.fun directly. Its fees reach the game because the creator points pump.fun fee sharing at the game account, which the creator can change on pump.fun.
